Our Classes
At Yoga 170, we are here to bring you a beautiful space and a welcoming community for you to start, or grow, your yoga practice. Our studio is unique in that instructors bring their own creative and authentic style to each and every class they teach. Whatever your age, experience, or energy level, there is a class for you here.
Vinyasa classes.
Slow Flow Vinyasa.
This class delivers the ultimate in calm energy. You’ll enjoy gentle flowing sequences to warm up the body, as well as slower paced movements focusing on alignment, strength, balance, and flexibility. Suitable for all levels, including beginners.
Power Vinaysa Flow.
This dynamic power flow class blends strength, stamina, and focus through energizing breath-to-movement sequences. You’ll move through creative flows that build heat while cultivating strength, fluidity, and balance. Expect to sweat, release, and leave feeling powerful and refreshed. Best suited for students with yoga experience.
Active Vinyasa Flow.
An active vinyasa class when you need to move, flow, and then stretch it out. While not quite as challenging as our Power Flow classes, this class is a perfect opportunity to move through creative sequences set to inspiring music — leaving you with a strong body and clear mind. Geared towards those with yoga experience.
Gentler classes.
Hatha Yoga.
A well-rounded, gentle class that begins with centering and breath work, allowing the body to find release. Class moves into gentle openings of the spine, hips and shoulders with traditional poses and moderate movement. Ample time given for relaxation to end class. Suitable for all levels, including beginners.
Gentle Yoga.
Our slowest, most gentle class. We’ll focus on breathing, gentle movements, and supported poses. A perfect class for those working with injury, limited mobility, or who prefer a softer approach to yoga. Suitable for all levels, including beginners.
Restorative classes.
Restorative Yoga.
Restorative Yoga is an excellent way to quiet the mind and calm the body. With the use of props such as blocks, bolsters, and blankets (all available for you at the studio), restorative postures release tension and encourage a deeper sense of relaxation and stillness. Perfect for all levels of experience, and stages of flexibility.
Yin Yoga.
In a Yin yoga class, poses are held for longer periods of time to facilitate a deeper stretch and release in the connective tissue or fascia. This style of yoga is an excellent practice to stretch, reset, and find deep release in each pose. No yoga experience required and our instructors will guide you through each pose. A truly relaxing experience!
Pilates & Fitness.
PIYO Cardio Yoga.
PIYO is a mix of pilates, cardio and yoga, set to an upbeat tempo! This very active blend of cardio and pilates will strengthen and tone you, while the yoga flow provides graceful and flowing elements to elongate and cool down. A great 30 min workout class!
Mat Pilates.
This energizing Mat Pilates class focuses on building strength and increasing muscle tone through intentional, low-impact movement. You'll activate deep core muscles, improve posture, create long, lean muscle tone, and leave class feeling strong, aligned, and recharged. Offered as 30 or 45 min classes.
Yoga Tone & Sculpt.
An upbeat, fitness-driven class that fuses a bit of yoga flow with Pilates-inspired mat work and sculpting moves. Get ready to fire up your muscles, sweat, and leave feeling toned and energized. Offered as a 45 min class.
Barre.
Our low-impact Barre classes are designed to build long, lean muscle through precise, effective movement. Using the mat and wall for support, this class strengthens, tones, and improves alignment without stressing the joints. Offered as a 45 min class.

To join us virtually, simply sign up for the class you’d like to take from the class schedule. The “register” button is the same for both livestream and in-person registration.
